Andy Anderson, quien fuera baterista de la banda The Cure, murió el día de hoy a los 68 años de edad. La semana pasada reveló vía Facebook que tenía cáncer terminal. A pesar del diagnóstico escribió:
Por favor, nada de tristeza, hay que ser positivos, para mí es solo otra experiencia de vida y un obstáculo, la cual lleva a otra elección de vida, ser ‘cool’. Me mantengo positivo ante la situación”.
‘Lol’ Tolhurs, miembro fundador de The Cure, confirmó la muerte de Anderson.
“Andy Anderson era un verdadero caballero y un gran músico con un gran sentido del humor, el cual mantuvo hasta el final, un testamento a su bello espíritu en su último viaje. Fue una bendición haberlo conocido”.
